About the role:

This role will engage and support women to increase their levels of physical activity at a time and place which meets their specific needs.

Our vision is to empower women and girls to be active, to feel stronger and more confident in their ability to take part in physical activity and sport and eliminate gender stereotypes.

Our mission is to create safe environments and provide opportunities where women and girls can take part in regular sport and physical activity which meet their specific needs and develop a community of support where women and girls can empower each other. We want to raise awareness of gender stereotypes and how these affect the activity levels of women and girls, and address and provide support to overcome gender specific issues which affect women and girls participating.

Our project aims to support 3 core groups during the project’s lifetime: teenage girls, mum’s and women working in Primary Education.

The role will require working in various facilities across Sheffield and surrounding areas, which includes evenings and weekends, to provide project specific initiatives at a time and place which meet the needs of participants.
