About the Role:

Our vision is for our LGBT+ community to be more active and feel stronger and more confident in their ability to succeed in sport and physical activity, to eliminate LGBT+ discrimination and help LGBT+ people feel they belong within the Sheffield Community.

Our mission is to provide positive safe spaces, free of discrimination which enable people from our LGBT+ community to be regularly active and to provide opportunities to develop their skills and confidence in sport and physical activity. We want to provide training and raise awareness of how the language currently used in everyday life can negatively affect our LGBT+ community and create a more empowered and inclusive community for everyone to participate in sport and physical activity. We also want to amplify LGBT+ voices in sport and share best practice within our industry.
