Harrison was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia back in April. A 12-hour football match was held at the English Institute of Sport by Aston Swallownest Football Club, Harrison’s football team, to help raise money for Sheffield Children’s Hospital and Charity.
“It’s been great to help Harrison kick Leukaemia” says Chris Bailey, Head of the Foundation. “It’s been a fantastic event attended by lots of people, a very special young man, and the foundation is very proud to be a part of that.”
Nickie Walch, Harrison’s mum said, “Today Harrison has been a normal 14-year-old lad, the day has lifted his mood, he has been playing football and it’s just been great.”
